       At Ho Yeen Kung Fu we teach the combination styles of Shaolin and Tiger Claw. Shaolin Kung Fu is one of the oldest traditional Chinese martial arts that has been practiced for thousands of years. It has been passed down from generation to generation to individuals whom dedicate their life to the art. In order for one to practice Shaolin forms, the body must be limber, so the exercises performed in class will help develop mobility and flexibility. The Tiger Claw art can be traced back several hundred years and has been practiced by only a privileged few. A person practicing the art of the Tiger can expect to develop a strong foundation in their stances and strength in their finger grip.

       In our classes one will undergo rigorous training that will help you improve your body condition. The exercises in our class will help you develop muscular strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and endurance. Improving your wellness through Kung Fu can possibly help prevent the onset of several maladies including obesity, diabetes, cancer, and heart disease.

       Since Kung Fu is a type of functional training it can be practiced by people of all ages. It can help with tasks in our everyday lives. There can be many reasons to practice Kung Fu. A youth can develop the flexibility and strength to play a sport, or an elderly can practice balance to avoid slips and falls. Whatever reason it may be Kung Fu can help you overcome that challenge.
